Client Advocate
It is an opportunity to serve the Lord by serving others in our community who are in need. Client Advocates offer emotional, spiritual, and practical resources. Advocates typically volunteer twice a month to meet with the clients that walk through the doors during the hours they volunteer. They also assist with day-to-day responsibilities at the center to assist and support the staff.
Parenting Mentor
A parenting mentor is a person that works one on one with our CPS mandated parenting clients. They meet with a designated male or female client on a weekly basis for 8-10 weeks. The times and days of the week stay consistent for both parties involved. These mentors take time to sit with the client for their 45-minute parenting session. In these sessions, the mentor and mentee watch the assigned parenting video together and then answer questions about the video. They take time to get to know the client and invest in them. Our mentors become a safe space for them to discuss parenting strategies and pitfalls.
