Client Advocate
Serving as a Client Advocate is an opportunity to serve the Lord by helping those in our community who are in need. Advocates provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to clients. Client Advocates volunteer twice a month, meeting with clients who visit during their scheduled hours. Additionally, Advocates assist with daily tasks at the center to support the staff and ensure smooth operations.
Parenting Mentor
A parenting mentor works one-on-one with our CPS-mandated parenting clients, meeting weekly with a designated male or female client for 8 to 10 weeks. Meeting times and days remain consistent for both mentor and client. During each 45-minute session, the mentor and mentee watch an assigned parenting video together, followed by a discussion to answer questions and reflect on the content. Mentors take the time to build trust and invest personally in their clients, providing a safe and supportive space to explore parenting strategies and challenges.
